Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City, Philippines, a major educational institution with 1,000 to 4,999 employees, has modernized its financial processes by adopting the NetSuite ERP system. This shift was prompted by a hardware failure in their outdated legacy system. ABJ Cloud Solutions, the implementation partner, assisted SLU in this transition which has led to major improvements in efficiency, such as the elimination of paper-based tasks, automation of accounts receivable, and rapid generation of financial reports, saving about five days of work per month.
Not only has this digital transformation streamlined financial tasks, but it also empowers SLU to utilize NetSuite’s data to evaluate and improve departmental performance. The team focuses on key metrics such as student registrations and revenue, making adjustments to ensure each department reaches its targets. Moreover, SLU is developing a custom student information system that will integrate with NetSuite and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, enhancing the collaborative aspect of their online education system which they adopted during the pandemic. This shift to online learning significantly increased graduate student enrollment and continues to be a key element of their educational approach.
